Consulting Relationship

Scope of services: Big Vision Finance provides non‑attest bookkeeping, financial reporting and business‑planning support. We are not a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm and do not offer public accounting services as defined by state accountancy boards. Our engagement is limited to bookkeeping, data processing and financial consulting; we do not perform audits, reviews or compilations and do not provide legal, tax or investment advice. Clients requiring tax returns, regulatory audit or attestation services will be referred to independent CPA or legal partners.

Many bookkeeping firms explicitly state that they are not CPAs and do not provide audit or assurance services. CPA practices differentiate between compilation engagements and preparation engagements, noting that preparation engagements are for internal use only and provide no assurance.

Non-Attest Reporting

Internal‑use‑only financial statements: Any financial statements, reports or dashboards we prepare are for management’s internal use and decision‑making only and are based solely on information provided by management. They are not intended or suitable for third‑party use, such as lenders, investors or regulatory bodies. We have not audited, reviewed or compiled these statements and therefore do not express an opinion or any assurance on them. Preparation engagements by accountants do not require inquiries of management or analytical procedures and are explicitly labelled “unaudited” and “restricted for internal use only”.

No GAAP or regulatory compliance implied: Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the reports we produce may not conform with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other regulatory frameworks. External users should not rely on these reports.

Client Responsibilities

Information accuracy: Our services rely on the accuracy and completeness of the data clients provide. Clients are responsible for supplying all financial records, invoices, receipts, contracts and other documents in a timely manner. We do not verify or investigate the completeness or accuracy of the information; any misstatements or omissions are the client’s responsibility.

Management decision‑making: While we provide financial analyses, dashboards and strategic commentary to support informed decisions, all management and operational decisions remain the client’s responsibility. Big Vision Finance does not assume responsibility for the acquisition, use or control of business resources and will not be liable for the outcomes of management’s decisions.

No Professional Advice

Clients agree to indemnify and hold Big Vision Finance harmless from any losses arising from their reliance on our work product or from decisions made based on our analysis.

Confidentiality & Third-Party Use

Confidential and proprietary: Information and reports we deliver are confidential and may include proprietary methods or trade secrets. They should not be shared with or relied upon by third parties without our prior written consent.

Third‑party referrals: We may refer clients to independent CPAs, attorneys or other professionals for services beyond our scope. These professionals operate independently, and Big Vision Finance is not responsible for their services or advice.
